A little help getting to know Koro, from keeping records to sharing care.
Koro is coming soon for iOS. These pages introduce the app and explain how its features work. We'll add a download link here when it is publicly available. For questions in the meantime, email koro@olivestudios.io.
Pet profiles, medications and dose logs, medical conditions, weight and other health logs, symptoms and observations, quality-of-life notes, vaccinations, lab results, vet visits, and documents. You can also keep meal plans, food logs, daily care tasks, allergies, vet and emergency contacts, and pet expenses together.
Yes. Each pet has their own profile and care history. Use the pet switcher in a screen's header to move between them. The number of pets available to an account depends on its plan; current benefits and limits are shown in the app.
Open Records for the pet, then choose how to add a document: select a file, add a photo, or scan a paper copy. Give it a title and category so it's easier to find later. Supported document-reading tools let you review extracted entries before saving them into health records. Always check names, doses, units, and dates against the original document.
Today brings scheduled meals, care tasks, and medication doses into the day's routine. Mark care when it is done so you can look back at what was recorded. Meals marked as fed appear in the Food Log. Medication logs distinguish given, skipped, and snoozed doses.
Yes. In Account → Household → Manage Members, invite someone as a Co-Manager or View Only member. Co-Managers can help maintain care records; View Only members can read the information shared with them. Supported records sync across the household, and logged care carries the name of the person who recorded it. Expense records are available only to the household owner and Co-Managers.
The household owner can open Account → Household → Invite Sitter, enter their email, choose which care sections to share, and set when access ends. The sitter signs in to Koro with the invited email and joins the invitation. Manage Members lets you change or remove their access. Sitters cannot access household expenses. Feature access depends on your plan.
Open Account → Notifications & Reminders and check the main Reminders switch and the switches for medication doses, meals, tasks, and refills. Then check that Koro is allowed to send notifications in iOS Settings. Meals and tasks also need a reminder time in their schedule. These settings apply to each phone, so everyone looking after the pet should check their own device. Focus and notification settings can affect when alerts appear.
Ask about your pet's saved details and recent care: weight changes, logged meals, medication history, or observations to discuss with the vet. Koro uses relevant records you are allowed to access and recent conversation context; it does not read every document or review the entire history for every question. You can attach selected photos and return to previous conversations in Chat History. AI chat is part of Koro Pro and has usage allowances shown in the app. Responses can be incomplete or incorrect, so review them and confirm care decisions with your veterinarian.
Yes. Cloud AI requests require your AI Data Sharing permission. For chat, the request can include your question, recent messages, relevant pet records, and selected photos. Document AI can send extracted document text. You can turn off future sharing for your account in Account → Data & Privacy → AI Data Sharing. Ordinary record keeping and on-device document reading do not require cloud AI permission. Saved chat history and chat photos stay on your device rather than syncing with your household. The Privacy Policy explains providers and retention.
In Account → Data & Privacy → Export All Data, export the selected pet's supported records as CSV files. The document export is an index; original files can be shared separately from Records. Account → Emergency Handoff → Emergency Summary creates a PDF of key details permitted by your access, for family, a sitter, or a vet. Original veterinary documents are not attached to that PDF. Review it before sharing; recipients can keep a copy.
Open Account → Data & Privacy → Delete Account and complete identity verification. Review the warning carefully: deleting an owner's account removes their household and its shared pet records and uploads. Records in another person's household and copies already exported may remain. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account. If you cannot reach the controls, email koro@olivestudios.io. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion in more detail.
Koro offers free features and optional Pro features, including AI chat. Benefits, prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and AI usage allowances are shown in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation. Manage or cancel an active subscription in your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting Koro or your Koro account does not cancel a subscription. Use Restore Purchases for supported subscriptions, or contact us if access is missing.
